PvP!! Heck yea!!........ummm no. This begins the death toll of the PvE game. The "balancing" act begins. It's bad enough we have people whining because x class does more or is better at (insert activity) than y even in PvE. Which btw is the most ignorant thing I have ever seen. I mean Player Versus Environment means thank you each and every class for your involvement. The competition is against ..hold it..the Environment! If I want to be the same as x then I will play x not come in here and whine. But now..well PvP screams balance. And so we begin that endless act. FF series IS PvE. No reason the MMO had to be something different.

You do know YoshiP is a huge PvP fan and has played Dark Age of Camelot quite extensively right? The announced "Frontlines" PvP system is quite likely going to be inspired by DAoC's Realm vs Realm.

I'm no fan of balancing PvP for small battles like 4vs4 or something, but large scale RvR like in DAoC is a lot of fun when executed well.

Games like Fantasy Earth Zero which had 1.2 million subs (not in the US) which was made by Square-Enix. On the U.S side we pleaded for summoner to be added in. Us dirty PvP people who played a PVP game developed by Square-Enix.

The golden age of THM was before the jobs came. He was the best healer (thanks to cone AoE heal), a good damage dealer and was able to tank Dodore.


@OP: why making this thread? We already know that PvP is coming since 2011. And arena would not be the only PvP event. There is also coming a whole PvP zone, called Frontiers.
