Dumb question about iLevel 55 crafting gear

I feel like this should be obvious, but I'm not finding an answer. Probably because I'm not sure how to phrase the question.

I'm hitting level 50 in Weaver, Carpenter and Leatherworker at the same time (well, all this week). I'm wondering if there's a reason, other than the aesthetic one, to use class specific gear for each one. IE: Weaver's Gibus vs Leatherworker's Hat vs Carpenter's Hood. Are they only able to be equipped by that class? The stats appear to be identical.

Any help would be appreciated. I'm going to make everything eventually, but it's been very simple using one outfit for all 3 classes until now.

They are class specific. The only All Class 50 gear with crafting stats is the Patricians gear.

Note that the Dodore Doublet is also ilvl50 and is identical to the Patrician's Coatee with an additional materia slot.
