I Can Log into the game, BUT....

When I do log in a screen pops up, saying that there is no active service for me, and that I need to purchase the game. Problem is, I already purchased the game, and I was playing it yesterday without any problems whatsoever. Now when I log on I keep getting the same message over and over again. I still have the codes for when I bought the game in store. Do I need to go back and re-download the game in order to actually play it or is this just some weird maintenance issue?

Check to see if you're out of playing time, and if you are simply add more time to your service account. You can find this out at the mog station.

Can't really find the playing time, However there's something called 'service account status', and it's inactive...? Is that it? Because If I have to pay just to keep playing I'll just put the game up on a shelf and keep playing first person shooters. :l I'm sorta a noob when it comes to stuff like this. Since I got the codes In store I really didn't think you would have to deal with the service accounts anyway. Is that the case?

Yes. Final Fantasy is a Pay to Play game. The game code is you buying permission to use a "Service Account", and the monthly fee is you paying to use the servers that the account is on. It's $15 USD a month for a standard account.
