XIesque Bazaar would be handy. It was fun checking party members in XI to try to find random good deals.

But since the current MB is equivalent to a bazaar, I understand why this is not implemented.

But since the current MB is equivalent to a bazaar, I understand why this is not implemented.

bazaars were removed because people only used them as storage space and most of the time if you checked people's bazaars you only saw stuff for 999999999 gil and nothing actually for sale.

Also, i don't see how the suggestion would help with pricing issues (which, there aren't any, its simple supply and demand), if you didn't offer enough for the consignment they would just sell their stuff on the market instead.

It creates a balancing factor. Ah's drve costs down by focusing on the lowest seller. Ch's drive costs up by focusing on the highest buyer. It also focuses the economy somewhat by giving non crafters the ability to call for things they want. Not just what's being sold. Basically it helps express demand a bit better.
