Haukke Mansion

Is it possible to run Haukke Mansion as a conjurer? I have read a few guides and they have all had white mages rather than conjurers.

I'm about to hit 29 so not quite ready for white mage yet but i would like ot run the dungeon and move my story quests on but i dont want to go in via duty finder and let people down by sucking because im not at the right level/job yet.

Ehm yeah? If you have the level to enter an instance (save some 50 instanses) you are ready to do them. Guides uses White Mage as it is recommended as it goes easier then.

Fully possible but i'd suggest having more up to date gear to make up for the stats you would be gaining as a whm. People just don't like not having jobs in there because they want to try and make up for their own lack of skill, you'll see a lot of paladin and warrior tanks from here on out that can't hold aoe threat at all so having the job and better gear they think it will make up for them being terrible some(it really doesn't).

New player maybe? Not everyone got the game in the first few weeks and are now 50. Could also be their 2nd class and they don't want to do nothing but Fate grind.

Since you can enter the Manor at 28 there is no reason at all not to enter it. You're not missing any crucial job abilities at this point and if your gear is semi up to date you should be fine.

This is my first class and have only just got to lvl 28 and need to run the instance to continue the main storyline.

I'm not part of the 'got to get to 50 in my first week' subset plus i can only play weekends which has also protracted my progress somewhat.

I have been through the market boards and run my class quests etc... so my equipment should be mostly up to date....i hope

I really felt the difference coming here as a minimum level MRD with an uphill battle and then waiting to try again as a WAR which was much easier. For a healer, I'm sure the difference won't be as pronounced as with a tank who gets his big tank buff right at job change.

Honestly, for content below level 30 you're actually better off on Conjurer than White Mage. You keep the full extent of your cross-class abilities, and you can't use any job abilities below 30.

A little late to this question but yes you can. I did it twice. That said, it is much easier at level 30. Not because of WHM, but because of Cure2. If you go into Haukke without Cure2, and you don't have a solid group, it is ridiculously hard to keep everyone up during the last boss. If you have a solid group, you probably won't need Cure2 though, so CNJ is fine. But if you are duty finding this, it could be a really hard fight. My first attempt as CNJ we wiped many times before the DPS figured out the lamps and the ads, and it was a really close thing even then we basically grabbed the loot at the 30 second mark.
