Yeah! There are people that go in there for uh... I dunno, the lore of it? Not everyone does endgame dungeons for gear right?

As for marking, I think anything more than marking the first mob in smaller packs is excessive. If you pull 3 mobs, you don't need to mark all 3. Is that last one even remotely necessary?

If by "reeks of laziness" you actually meant "Can successfully aoe tank without needing to mark every mob", then sure. It's not laziness to skip unnecessary steps; it's efficiency.
