People who ask for marks in DF

Whats the best way to mark? Seperate 1,2,3 commands? Or build them into Macros with other abilities?

Ex. Should Fast Blade have a built in #1? So everytime I use it the mob gets labeled #1?

I'm a long time FF11 player so marking is brand new to me.

I wouldn't, personally, as I don't ALWAYS use FB on the target I want marked (I should, but I don't). See my post above for my thoughts : D
