Bizarre issue with my controller

I just started the game recently but I didn't have an issue with my controller at all for the four days I've played.

Until today. I logged on and for some reason some of my buttons were swapped.

Start became R3
Select became L3
Triangle become Circle
Circle became cross
Cross became Triangle

It's quite disorienting. I tried a few things in hopes it would go back to normal. Unplugging and replugging. Restarting the client before unplugging and replugging. Restarting my computer. Not sure what is wrong exactly... hopefully someone can help me out.

(Tried looking at the keybinds. There's nothing wrong there)

Have you looked into "Gamepad Settings" to see what the gamepad is set to? You can calibrate it as well if it is set to the right setting.

Already tried all of the controller setting to make sure nothing changed. Sadly I haven't found anything and I even tried resetting everything to default.

I see. Unfortunately my PS3 controller kinda broke recently so I can't check it out myself. Good luck.

You could check your gamepad settings in Windows control panel.

It doesn't show anything wrong in the game controller settings in the control panel. Just did all of the calibration and it's fine. It's just the weird button swap I can't seem to find the source of the problem at all.

Fixed the problem. I had to go re calibrate my in game settings after resetting it to default. It wasn't "saving" before it seems.
