Well when i go in with random people (from Duty Finder) many times a dps or others will rush in and get agro so i do not even have time to type anything.
PS3 for typing is rather painful sadly
Rarely do i let members take too much damage when doing dungeons
I just much prefer going in with FC members and always thank and say great job at the end
