If there is heavy supply of a particular item, its value goes down through the process of undercutting unless demand can keep up. I think "sellers" need to get used to the idea that prices aren't static. Most things in this game are under heavy supply, and demand for what you can craft is relatively small. The end result is a lot of supply on the markets and a lot of undercutting to attract what little buyers there are.

Ive said since the game released that it is a buyer's market. Things are cheap, and will get cheaper as a matter of fact.
Undercutting occurs because people want their item to be the cheapest so it sells the fastest. Say someone is selling for 18k then someone thinks 10k will sell quickly and sets their price to that. Then a bunch of other people see the 10k price, and price there or even lower.
