I'm a level 50 crafter who spends lots of time crafting items and putting them up for sale. I love the crafting mechanics in this game and I know future changes / modifications to the system will only make it better. However, since I craft mostly for profit (and I imagine that most crafters do), I've been forced to participate in the whole undercutting game. Don't get me wrong, I know that undercutting will always exist and it's a part of any system that involves the buying and selling of commodities, but why can't we minimize the constant checking of prices by allowing for blind auctions? I hate to refer to FFXI, but this system was really good! It allowed for me to place my items up for sale and not worry about it, since I couldn't see what others were selling their stuff for. It just removes the need to constantly be checking and re-pricing items, saving me time to be doing other things. What are your thoughts?
