History

Divine Shadow was formed by a seven member council back before the release of Star Wars: The Old Republic in 2011. The council and many of our present-day members have been actively PvP'ing and raiding since the days of UO, EQ and DAoC. Combined, I would say we've likely played every MMOG that has appeared in the western hemisphere and played a good number of games from the east as well.

The council and all of our members operate off of our guild charter. The charter was formed by our original council and has since evolved as our needs and gaming choices have also evolved. If you can think of a guild/FC subject, we probably have it covered within the charter.

Divine Shadow was founded with the intention of pursuing PvP and have evolved to become a well-oiled raiding and general gaming machine. Some of the past and present games which we have been actively involved with include:

- Wizardry Online
- TERA
- League of Legends
- Smite

Current Status

We presently have over 40 ARR members on at varying times each day. Members are located all across the United States/Canada and we do have overseas players as well. As of last night (10/21), our complete roster had upwards of 60 players who had been playing within the past week and over 20 members who had been active over the past couple of days.

Many members are very well geared and we're actively working to gear up others. We have absolutely no issue with helping out one another regardless of where you are in terms of gearing up and completing content.

Our Invitation to You

Those of you on Behmoth looking for a Free Company that'll help you out regardless of level, gear up at 50 and run Coil need not look any further for an FC to join. We are made up of many longtime members who have been playing MMOGs since the early days of DAoC and EQ.

Raiding/PvP

- We're currently running two static Coil groups and are in the process of building a third static group (looking for a geared WHM to join us; someone that is awesome and willing to use TeamSpeak)
- Our raid times are 9pm ET or later during the weekdays and we're very flexible throughout the weekend.
- We utilize a dedicated TeamSpeak server. Members are required only to join for raid and dungeon content, but we actively encourage each and every person to hop on whenever they can.
- Once PvP goes live we'll be sure to get teams together and hit up the arenas.

Additional Perks

We also partake in casual gaming nights each week where we hop out of ARR and play something completely out of the ordinary. Past games include BF3, BF4, Quake Live, Civ5 and TF2.

We've admittedly been pushing to find an active SCH or two as well as some additional DPS.

We've picked up a few folks over the past week and are beginning to run Coil this week (well, a larger set of us that is). We're also now linked up with another FS for grouping and raiding purposes.

I can vouch for how helpful and friendly DS has been. The constant WP and AK runs have not burnt me out because doing it with these guys is usually a fun time. Lots of us are very active on Team Speak if that interests you as well.

We're currently doing Coil on a mostly static group. We almost have enough healers and tanks to fill out another. Mooooore DPS Come join us!

Our first Coil group completed T1 on Tuesday and we're working to assemble a second Coil group. Currently looking for additional DPS, but it'd be nice to have another healer + tank as well. We're also still doing general recruitment so if you aren't 50, have no fear.

First and second Coil groups are now on Turn 4, working toward Turn 5 and beyond.

Additionally, we're now building Coil Group #3. We're currently looking for a WHM to raid on Tues/Thurs nights at 9PM ET. This individual need only be awesome and willing to use TeamSpeak 3.
