Japanese error text in English version

I tried to complete the level 5 weaver's guild quest by turning in 2 HQ versions and one normal version of the required item, hempen breeches.
The game let me get all the way to the end where I choose the reward option before telling me I couldn't complete the quest. However the text was in Japanese:
条件を満たしていないためクエストをコンプリートできません。
(You can't complete the quest because you do not meet the requirements.)

I suspect you've since completed this quest using normal quality items but, in the event you haven't, you'll be pleased to know that these quests can now be completed using HQ items. Not that there's any particular benefit to doing so, last I checked, but that's now your prerogative!

Thank you for your assistance with writing a report for us, it is appreciated! This matter is currently being reviewed and we were hoping we might be able to receive some additional information from you.

From the time that you originally spoke to the NPC and when you attempted to receive the reward, we were wondering if you can recall anything odd that occurred during that time frame. Such as any other strange things occuring in or about the game that you noticed. Also,was your inventory full at the time or perhaps it was almost full and then suddenly filled up due to a party member defeating a monster creating an item drop during your speaking with the NPC? If you can recall anything outside of the norm like this that may have happened, it woud be very helpful to the investigation.

Hi, GM Emdub.

No, I can't think of anything unusual that would have happened during that time frame, especially the things you listed above.
I took the screenshot from my original post immediately after the error occurred, and as you can see I was not in a party with anyone else and my inventory had 7 slots open. Sorry I can't be more help on the issue.
