    I tried this once and can agree completely with the first 3 points. Haven't been back since. Maybe when I get a new pc I can try again.

    got silver for killing behemoth on cactuar on friday.

    no pictures. got him down to below 5% and then i got stunned....and then surrounded by AOEs (died before meteor)

    The most common suggestion is to turn off nameplates which count as an entity and can result in culling less than ideal objects on the screen. I've also heard about turning off or limiting the number of effects (spell effects, weapon skill effects, etc) to improve what's drawn.

    After disabling nameplates on all but my party and enemies I had a much easier time spotting and keeping Odin on the screen. Same with Svara (is that how you spell the dragon's name?). The only problem is whether you feel like keeping them permanently off or taking the time to configure it each time you try to join the fate.
