How can we be sure SE bans the right person for exploits if there's no transparency?

Maybe you can be perfectly happy knowing that an irreversible damage is to stay on a game you dedicate your time to being covered up. I just think it's painful and it's disrespectful for the legit players to get banned/caught in this mess without a proper acknowledgment and handling.

"Legit" is not enough in my eyes. The question is: did the person question expect there to be a high % of RMT gil involved and is it reasonable to expect them to have considered it?

Legit is by no means equivalent "good enough", it just means that you didn't break a certain arbitrary set of rules. That's just a first layer.

I'm not one to normally point to MS as a good example on much if anything but I absolutely love the way they handle Xbox Live cheaters/griefers/other rule breakers that come onto their forums and claim innocence. I've seen many, MANY people go to their forums to proclaim their innocence only to be met with EXACTLY what they did splayed out for everyone to see. I've even seen their team post what steps they did to verify their information including in-depth investigation details.

Its not that I totally think people like KevinC are guilty of anything , but its hard to think he is innocent when he adds insults and conspiracies in about everything he post.

Like I said in the Post KevinC replied to , A FC on my server suffered Gil being taken from them because they were selling Titan wins at 400k a pop and its was most likely paid for by Gil Buyers ....... which I seen happening when I seen this the first week the game went live.

People like KevinC play innocent , and he might have been as forth not participating in Gil Buying himself , but the items or services he sold were and thus got him where he is at.

SE did not do this , Gil Buyers did . They owe them money and that's how I'd look at it . SE had to clean up the Illegal money and if they cannot see it , then they never will and they will be right back here again ....

Record everyone second of playing the game and if you get screwed, Take it to a lawyer spend 1m RL dollars to Sue SE so you can get your character gil back.

People forget a lot of HACKED accounts are exploiting. So a wall of shame saying that play XXXX YYYY hacked using Z method isn't helpful once that person has their account restored - they will be blacklisted and be known as an exploiter who might have simply had their account stolen.

I just saw in youtube some guy changing hi potions to infinite money. Now once that money circulates.. Everyone can get hold of it, intentionally or not. You think we as customers deserve to know how they dealt with it? I'd say if that happens in just one day the damage is irreversible to the point that only a world wipe can fix.

Also, inb4 why does someone getting rich bother you..

lol, ok first off why do you need to know who the cheater was? Secondly, in game currency doesn't just go to players, a huge chunk of it goes to NPCs and thats the end of the road for it ...

Not to mention gil isn't like an item and isn't transfered as such. You don't get banned because somewhere down the line you run into bad currency aka *funny money* rofl
