How can we be sure SE bans the right person for exploits if there's no transparency?

I just saw in youtube some guy changing hi potions to infinite money. Now once that money circulates.. Everyone can get hold of it, intentionally or not. You think we as customers deserve to know how they dealt with it? I'd say if that happens in just one day the damage is irreversible to the point that only a world wipe can fix.

Also, inb4 why does someone getting rich bother you..

No, more like admit the bug ever occurred and tell us what exactly are they doing to fix the damage done, and how.. Do you think it's fair? People who worked hard and get gil cleaned, people who cheated with nothing to lose but money to gain on the RMT market. I am neither, because I haven't made much gil but to think that with that money circulating so many things could've happen.. just bugs the hell out of me. People who shouldn't get banned get banned, people who actually got away with some percentage of that massive wealth just because they are "below the suspicious amount", people who actually cheated their way and probably 1-2 got away with it for every 10000 cheats..

Everytime someone gets caught breaking TOS its always the "I am innocent" threads , if we have a Shame List , we could all just point to it and tell them to STFU .

See that's your Issue , its not the Company who has to Provide Proof .

This is what happens in the Private World.

Its not up for discussion , quit if you do not like it ..........

They are not banning people for Fun , people are breaking the rules and getting caught .

Believe this or not , but a vast Majority of Players have no ever been banned or suspended , because they come onto a game and play it and do not go out their way to cause issues or problems or cheat to get ahead .

As for Proof , this is the internet , in real life we have people who kill people , found with the proof of their crime ,and yet with every detail proven , the defense team is able to rip it apart and claim innocence .

Companies as you point out exist to make money. Alienating your customers, causing them to loose confidence in company and less likely to spend money there. As mentioned it leaves a black eye on the company and hurts the company. It also increases the cost to acquire and maintain a customer.

Darkfall done this same thing, had a website (unholybanhammer.com) Where you could see the players nam and what they were banned for.
