Haha I couldn't resist. Do YOU seriously think THIS will fix it? Amigo, we are a long ways off from this being fixed. Prince of Pestilence has been down on four servers since they came back up.

As much as you don't want to hear this, learn to claim. Griefcamp them, match numbers, etc.. It is not a hard thing to do.

You do know off-topic posts are also against forum rules too don't you? Why can't you take a legitimate attempt to correct an in-game bug, posted in the correct forum, with examples of the bug in progress, seriously? I'm not yelling, I'm not raging, I'm simpling trying to right a wrong by bringing it to the attention of the proper people in the proper manner.

I suspect that claiming issues are likely to be part of the new combat system since they haven't been addressed specificly yet.

Well at least they are aware of the issue, however we will still likely need to wait until mid June for patch 1.18 to come out for it to be addressed, I'm just hoping they read this thread as well and see that it is not only an issue, but a serious recurring one. I also made sure to clearly screenshot the specific example of this exploit occurring and those involved, so hopefully they will take that into account too. I'm pretty sure if they took action against the offending individuals it would at least discourage others from attempting it. Even just giving them a firm in game talking to would be enough, Jail is scary, especially when most of them have put a decent amount of time into their characters, they just chose not to claim properly.

This is about people keeping claim on NMs by not returning, not abandoning faction leves and still getting the rewards. I imagine the response would be the same though.

All that needs to be done until a fix happens though is a community rep has to come here and officially state it is a serious violation and that it's a potentially bannable offense. That should scare most of the people away from doing it.

It has happened to us a few times, fair enough if you can't claim and then the other party wipe you have chance of claiming...but if you have some muppet lying dead on the floor and the mobs name turns back to white and looks like it is unclaimed and low and behold you can't touch it because of this exploit! if you don't have a problem with this exploit then you are probably the ones that are using it. This issue needs fixing.

First off if your gonna preach to the Rules from SE how about you Explain that in those Pictures you were Actually attempting to MPk my Team or how badly you suck because you got out claimed by 1 person to your teams 5 at that side.

I think he is just requesting that this needs to be fixed and I agree. It's not about claiming; it's about a dead body holding a claim over a NM so other's can not get the NM. I would think any legit player would want this issue addressed so that everyone can have fair play on a mob. If you are dead you don't need to still have claim on a mob as you can not attempt to kill it since you are... dead. This thread makes perfect sense to me and I'm glad he brought it to SE's attention.

First off I'm going to respond by saying that the death claimer King Tec and 'Super' Kireek here, are both in the same LS that advocates death claiming. Outer Heaven is the name, I suggest avoiding them if you play on Fabul.
Secondly I would like to point out that there are no extra mobs present in any of the photos taken, just the yellow ones you 'claimed' through an exploit that is strictly against every SE policy in regards to game play.
Lastly I would like to mention that we did successfully claim the NM several times before you, thus resulting in King Tec using some attack to claim them, and then proceed to die miserably and lay there while the rest of your party meandered down from the Mun-Tuy Cellars to kill the NM you had no right in killing. The only reason he managed to get the NM was because it quite literally spawned on top of him, however he wasn't skilled enough to stay alive, Even though according to other posters, any THM could hold the group for 5 minutes, apparently not. The fact that you are here trying to defend your actions that are just so blatantly against SE policy is just laughable. Maybe if you chose NOT to cheat in the first place, you wouldn't be seeing photos of yourself and fellow LS members up in a thread like this.
