Tank mentality.

I'm kinda new in this tanking field, I prefer dd instead of tanking/healing in mmos before this.
But for this game however really made me attracted to being a tank.

For me being in a DF group is like falling backwards and hopefully they'll catch you.
And same goes for the others in the group too.
It's a two-way street. I'll catch you as long as you'll catch me.

Most of the df group I encountered until now are really nice.
Haven't been actually blamed that any complication happened in the dungeon is my fault.
If anything, we all like apologized to each other and moved on.
Guess it's my luck too maybe.

But "Tank is leader" thing? I'm not so sure lol.
Honestly, I hate leading, andwalkinginfrontofthegroup.
Had to suck it up for tanking sake.
But just because I walk in front, doesn't mean I'm the boss. BI

I think one of the main issues is that people are being essentially forced to grind out AK and WP for Tomestones . People are just getting sick of it and when it doesn't go 100% well, people have a short fuse or just don't care enough to try to be a team player; they just want to get their Tomestones and get out ASAP and do it over again.

That kind of thing forces you to do 100+ runs to get the gear, point blank not right. I rather do different dungeons that give you more gil also items O.o. right now they have only given us gil below 50- for each trash mob, due to RMT again not our problem. Not every player is RMT that wants to sell gil to 3rd party. They are just making it hard for players that are genuine trying to make gil. Also Stop with the crafting bull shit we hear all the time lol.

SE needs to stop botters/hacks that are destroying the economy by putting everything for 1gil on AH when you can sell it to the merchant for that much lol.
Its the same fate diablo 3 gone through (what they did was taken out AH lol.

If the WHM is having threat issues on Titan its likely the fault of the tank. A: Under geared and incapable of required threat gen. B: A baddie tank who regardless of gear probably won't succeed.

I can really understand angry Tanks. There's something about people letting you down that makes you cynical. If someone bites it during a FATE I'll raise them after because it takes 5 seconds and what kind of jerk would I be to leave them lying there. Inversely... I watch CNJs run off leaving my dead butt behind. You jump up to tank for a group of 14 people and no ONE heals you? Even if you hold yourself at 10% health for a full minute not ONE? You start wanting to see them all wipe when it suddenly jumps to the nearest THM and tears them down before they can run and hide.

While I'm running around as a healer and I keep the tank alive during those battles they _thank_ me afterwards. That says something. A tank's role is to hold hate and a healer's is to heal. Why is the tank thanking me for healing instead of me thanking him for tanking? I usually say as much when they thank.

Angry tanks are often just cynical of those around them for good reason.

Stupid part about that is if Conjurer was actually playing their class they would know heals get you exper in fates.

Because I farm beast mats with a conjurer I will on a regular basis just stop to heal someone when they are hitting mobs. Some cases, they are in a fate and I am not level sync for it so I am healing and not even able to to attack. Each kill, I get exper even though I never touch the mob they are on.
