It's completely believable that they would scrap the PS3 version.
This is such bs I think the definition of the word should be officially changed to illustrate the ridiculousness this sentence.

It would make complete sense to scrap the version of a game whose fanbase lies almost exclusively on the console environment. It makes complete sense to try to chase after the same pool of players every single MMO developer is after instead of catering to the people who are a) less critical about the end product as long as the brand name is intact and b) less likely jump ship due to the same brand name as well as the fact that aside from some random superhero MMO that does not even appeal to the same audience they have absolutely no competition on the platform.

To give a bs example to a bs statement AoC is named, to further strengthen the headache I am about to get.

Since the Conan franchise is mainly based on consoles and has a strong following on 360, not to mention Funcom, a console developer who did not run out of money while trying to salvage their product. All this taken into account, it is no surprise why AoC is being compared to XIV- the situations are nearly identical after all!

Now if SE seemed like it was giving up on the project that would mean no PS3 version as well, unfortunately they seem to be doing the complete opposite.

"Hey guys, let's ignore the majority of fans of the franchise and chase after the players we already lost in an environment with dozens of competitors!"
