Relic help.

I just hit 50 on my Bard, but it seems that no matter what I do I can't get my relic quest for Bard.

What seems to have happened is that when I finished my Pld relic, the only other job I had at 50 was Blm, now no matter what I do the npc will only offer Blm relic reborn. Is there anyway to get him to offer the Bard quest instead?

So disappointed, I do not want the Blm Relic yet, but it seems i can not work on Brd till I do the full quest for Blm first. Someone tell me I'm missing something.

You done the full storyline quest for brd? You talked to the npc as a brd?

Have you finished your archer/bard class/job quests up to 50?

To qualify you need the main story quests done and the Job quests done. Plus need to be on the job your trying to get the quest for.

If you haven't done your brd job quests then he won't offer you the relic quest.

That is to say, you must have RE-DONE them in ARR (having done them prior in 1.0 doesn't count to have the relic option unlocked)
