Great game, Needs an Ubuntu version

As Microsoft is making it moves Linux distros seem to be on the rise both in and out of the US. The only reason windows is still on many gamers PC's is due to lack of games on Linux by bug game makers. Square-Enix made a big step with reinventing FF XIV, but could take it a step further. Bring the game to Linux, follow Valves example with how they want to change things and let us spend more money on the games we love that you make, whilst less on the system to play them on.

They need to fix major issues like the massive ability delay before then even consider releasing the game on another platform.

Honestly, they need to relax the driver requirements so Wine doesn't need certain restricted addons to run the game. It doesn't need to be converted to Linux, just made easier to run in Wine.

I play FFXI on Wine, Valve released a Linux version of Steam with a fair bit of their library already largely Linux compatible. Decades? Not going to say it's going to be a while, but I'd say years than decades.
