I'm amazed people are actually calling for /less/ challenge for end game...
I'm not even at end-game yet, and I'm looking forward to the learning curves, the frustrations and satisfaction, and all aspects of attempting to organise a large group. This kind of content is what end-game should be, something that requires knowledge and a little focus and skill and co-ordination.
This isn't about catering for hardcore or casual, even a casual player will eventually be able to attain the gear required to take on the content. The content itself isn't difficult, no PVE is. It's all learning patterns and timing. The difficulty is finding players who understand this, have put in the effort to learn it, and can focus long enough to achieve it.
Even causal players can get there. Don't base your view on the hardcore few who can rush this content due to having more time to focus on it. Look at it as a long term goal, as a challenge you'll be able to take up in time, and enjoy your journey there.
Trust me, you'll appreciate the challenge when you get there.
