5 PuGs or AF+1/Allagan/relic+1 players on a voice chat program that have been playing together for a long time?

This is most certainly not a common thing and I suspect it might be legacy players that are doing it and or the types I just listed.

It really doesn't matter what their gear is, people have cleared Titan wearing bikinis. I'll agree that Titan is a big step up from the other two primals and could benefit from a slight alteration to account for all the supposed lag issues (I can't comment on that since I can spit on my data center from where I live and have never seen the mystical lag that hits so many in Titan).

Take into account that we're not even supposed to be in Coil yet. They designed it to be run AFTER clearing or getting some gear from Crystal Tower. I personally wish that they'd ramp up the difficulty on CT to match and/or surpass Coil since people are already steam rolling everything but Turn 5.

I live way up north, my average ping is 300-800 ms. In other MMOs/other games I average 60-150 so I dunno what is up with this game when it comes to ping.

And you are right, they went totally backawards here by not having CK at launch since its supposed to go Ifrit/AK/WP/CM/Prae/Garuada -> Titan -> CK -> Coil. By time they release CK, the gear HC guilds are acquiring right now will trivialize CK before it even get's released. That, imo, is pretty silly planning if you ask me.

Yes, by people in an elite FC/good friends that have being playing together for a long time/did that fight so many times they can do it blind folded. Average PuG players won't be doing that so easily.

It doesn't matter what type of FC they are in or how hardcore/casual they are. The fact that they did it in Bikinis (meaning mainly just weapons and accessories for gear) it proves that Titan is more mechanic dependent than gear dependent. All gear does is make it easier for the PUGs.

The fact remains that the OP is kind of silly seeing as what the game really needs (given the progress in coil thus far) is a difficulty increase.

Seeing the obvious stat discrepancies and the "missing tier" that is CT, witholding Crystal Tower was intentional because it would give players a wall to throw themselves at until 2.1 comes out. A less elegant version of WoW's overtuning C'thun to be mathematically unkillable without having extreme gating of content like Sunwell Plateau.
