    Solo, or maybe duo challenges.

    It could be neat to have content that is tuned toward single classes which is designed to be challenged solo. Sorta like the Maat fight in FFXI, except lass maddening as it isnt required to progress in the game's standard gameplay.

    Tho, since this game is supposed to be a social game at its core, maybe make it 2 man content, and possibly focus it around classes instead of jobs.

    Maybe something along the lines of WoW's challenge mode dungeons.

    Iunno, I just feel like this game lacks more casual challenging content that can be taken on on a whim. One of the things I enjoyed doing in FFXI and WoW was taking on content that was trivial to a group, but more challenging solo, such as challenging NMs solo in FFXI or soloing heroics or lesser world pops (stuff like the warbringers in MoP, but sadly, soloing those has been trivialized by further increases to ilevel).

    Also, didnt really know where to put this... doesnt really fit dungeons, but it seemed like the right place.

    I like these ideas, maybe they can build upon the job quest, not make them only for every 5 levels and instead make quests every patch for new moves.

    Or duo dungeons where you and another person of your job have to do a instance together, or dungeon.

    Yeah I also really think that these are good ideas. I have to say though, that this game seems like more 'lip service' than a well thought out and original experience. FFXI has alot going for it and may not be viable as compared to this game on many levels but has core concepts that are much more rewarding than FFXIV.

    So to bring shape to your idea:

    You could call them 'Crystal Conquests"

    And the point to them is to earn conquest points for your Grand Company. Whichever Grand Company has the highest points in a given area, get bonus' on the primal battles and dungeon experience in those zones. Recipes that are BoP also drop from area bosses as well as various forms of vanity like Title's, Mount upgrades etc! Really looking forward to major content patch, I hope something comes to fruit of your idea!

    Dear gods I miss FFXI's conquest system. It makes sense, too, that the 3 city states would have military drills against one another to stay sharp. and a little healthy competition is good for everyone.

    Also, I think that forcing people to drop their soul crystals might be interesting, as it would bring more relevance to the classes, as well as making for more flexible design due to the ability to borrow more skills cross class.

    There would need to be some good rewards from it tho, like stuff for the future vanity gear deal. If that is, in fact happening. man I hope so... there are just too many people running around all looking the same.

    I kind of want a Chocobo based dungeon - If Duo challenge applies here - Like reaching certain heights.
    Rank 5/ Rank 10 etc. Would be cool imo. lol

    Yeah that's what i want and hope we get some sort of Duo with your chocobo or others on dungeons that be nice.
