Final Fantasy XIV - A Turning Point

There are few adventurers within the realm of Eorzea, and there are even fewer women. Sometimes, I like to think of myself as an amazon; a stalwart warrior against the endless tyranny of boredom in an otherwise barren wasteland. Today, I choose to share with you a story that will forever alter this fantasy I had so falsely created.

It was a crisp morning in the Black Shroud, the air ripe with a sense of possibility. I had just awoke from a restful sleep and decided today was the day I would lend my hand to the Wailing Barracks, more commonly known as the Lancers' Guild. And so it was that I ended up completing all three of the uninteresting Lancer quests. Afterwards, exhaustion rearing it's ill-favored head, I got a bit sidetracked and decided to check something else out while I was there. Had I known I would encounter something so traumatic, so irreparably life-changing, I just may have thought twice...

My normally healthy brain suffered a slight implosion when I noticed a seizing anomaly. For that brief moment in history, the beat of my heart was arrested in a daze and a slight unstready tremor rippled throughout my body.

Could this be true?

Did my eyes deceive me?

How the /hell/ could this be happening to ME?

I gripped the edge of my desk, unsure of what I should do. Do I report this catastrophic discovery, or should I simply let it slide by and accept it for what it could very well possibly be: one of those all-too fleeting moments when it's as though God is looking you in the eye.

I've captured this bafflement in a screenshot for all to behold.... Feel free to speculate whatever it may be....

In any event, I have escaped this mental upheaval a changed woman. I suppose I may be one of the few who can say FFXIV has gripped my soul in an irreversible way. I wish I could say this in a positive light, but alas, it is not so. I feel this is a burden too heavy for me to bear. It is with a heavy heart (and heavy gear damage) I must take my leave of Eorzea for the time being. Perhaps one day, if the time is ever right, I will return. Perhaps.

But as for now, this defeated amazon has fallen.

One of many problems the game had since Beta, that still has not been resolved. just like how /eaction # "Pierce" doesnt do anything.

All abilities that are counterparts to that specific one in all DoW and DoM guild shops have that defect. It isn't a mere typo.

as a description. Did it maybe cross ppl minds to report it as a bug? Or wait till they fix the game a bit more before tackling minor typing errors? 1/2 the time ppl don't even read item descriptions
