HQ mailbreaker vs Curtana

i've been hearing latly that the HQ mail breaker for paladin is actually better then the curtana(non+1)

it gives you 5 slots, but i'm not even sure the stats on it. Any truth to this?

I've since sold my HQ Mailbreaker after getting the Relic, but from memory STR caps at +16 and VIT at +17. All other stats such as skill speed, parry, accuracy, and crit rate cap at +21 give or take 1. Determination and Dexterity cap at approximately 12 give or take 1 (can't remember fore sure). There really aren't any other stats you would consider melding to it in high quantity.

Mailbreaker allows you to have a more diverse range of stats, but where Curtana wins out overall would be the +3 to base damage and the higher STR and VIT. Like Vmage said, an HQ Mailbreaker is undeniably better than any current Primal weapon, but loses out once you get Curtana.
