    Another multi-class-on-one-character issue that I've just now remembered, you can't really play Smn AND Sch efficiently, for Smn you should allocate +30 points to int, for Sch you should allocate +30 points to mnd, and you have to pay 10k GC Seals EVERY TIME YOU SWAP, this basically means that anyone who wishes to play both must either waste hundreds of hours farming GC seals to swap, or gimp themselves by allocating 15 int, 15 mind.

    i don't mind having to choose which 'spec' of a class you'd rather play as much, although if gladiator or marauder gets a dark knight dps job in the future i may change my tune

    honestly though i'm not really sure why stat allocation exists, every job simply dumps all 30 points into their main stat, there's no thought to it at all.

    and this is why they should put a restriction on how many times you can lot...instead of how many times you can do the instance. They were going to do that but for some reason decided to change their mind....:/

    That would have been a ton better, I just want to play the game I'm paying monthly for, not be locked out of the most fun/challenging content after the 3 hours it takes to clear turn 1 - > 4 per week.

    How exactly is that a bad thing?

    At the moment i assume that less than 20% of people are doing Coil, it might be more but i doubt. If people have Gil to spend and want to be boosted, let them.

    Eventually the boosted will catch up with the boosters gearwise and it will have all been worth it.

    I'm firmly against the increase of speed in acquiring gear in this game. However enticing more pieces for alt jobs sounds, you're trying to rush the flow of progression without looking long term.

    This is more or less the reason why I just leveled PLD to go alongside WAR. In something like Coil, I can bring either job and get the loot I want for both classes. I bought Darklight and got gear for both classes. I can spend myth on accessories for both jobs, but I have to prioritize when it comes to armor. Why would I ever want to subject myself to the unfortunate grind of leveling a DPS or healer and having to farm all that philosophy and myth and deal with a weekly lockout timer on Coil that makes gearing jobs with incompatible gearsets a losing prospect? I'm all for leveling jobs of different types to help out friends, FC, and LSs, but the current system doesn't really make it feasible. I guess we'll have to see what Monday's hotfix changes in regards at least to phil / myth tomes.
