    Savable/Loadable Action Bar Templates

I was wondering if it would be possible to make setting actions easier. Here's my idea:

The main thing that gets me is when you change to a job, your actions are just left over from the previous job, even if you change back to the first job.

How about once you set your actions the way you want, be able to save it as a sort of 'template' so you can just load it up again when you want that build.

OR, just have the game remember what actions you had set for each job/class so that when you change back to it, your actions are automatically set the way you had them before.

(It's annoying every time I change back to Conjurer and have to set each individual action)

Let me know what you guys think!

EDIT: I thought about the upcoming battle changes, and if they get rid of action bars altogether (which I wouldn't be against) then I guess we don't have to worry about this issue.

i'm not sure if they said something about this issue but i think they are adressing it. But as you said, since nobody really knows exactly what will change with the job/battle-changes one can't tell.
I would love to have this feature so i wouldnt have to macro my abilites and leave the macros for more important stuff.
I would like to see this feature for traits as well though.

They already said they will be working on a system to save skill sets per class, so when you change it will auto change it to however you had it setup last.

In FFXI you didn't need to backup your macro's as you could save them on the server side, I admit it was many years before I found that out though ><

    Heya!

I post my other post from another thread where we've talked about, and seemed like a nice idea:

    Heya!

Drop that "Luxury" thing! I find this thing really useful!
Resetting the skills takes at least 3-5 minutes manually, so by doing this there will be more time spared for killing things! (and for crafting and gathering of course =D)

I have two ideas though. If you want you can discuss them. Eitherway, you can simply ignore this.

The blue squares are the skills, which are divided by the groups Actions, Traits and... uh... I always forget that! And the yellow circles are the two possible ideas that came in my mind.

    Feel free to discuss!

    See ya!

[EDIT] I forgot: If there aren't enough skill points, the set will be loaded anyway, but some skills will not figure, as the skillpoints are exceeding the available amount.

    See ya!
