How threat(hate) vs heal?

Hi, im a new tank, had some problem holding 2nd and 3rd mob\\'s hate against healer be4. Basicly DDs don\\'t have hate from them, hate r from healer since they hit me and healer cure me. So here is my question

1.How much hate does healing generate? (Like 1000 hp healed generate=?)

2. How much hate does dmg generate?

3. How does hate count? Does count as points or percent?( like 1000 points split to player or 100% hate, and each player get different percent)

Is there any1 did reseach about those be4, can u share please. Thank u very much

Well, just looking at your Lodestone profile and *assuming* that's the gear you're wearing, it's totally wrong. I don't know if you have any of the Hoplite main set pieces yet, but if you don't you should at the very least be wearing your AF armor. (go do you job quests!) That stuff you have on as of the last time the Lodestone updated has garbage for defense, so healers are going to have to spam heal you to keep you up because your defense stat is so low.

Once you're properly geared then it may be worth going over certain mechanics. But basically you'll want to use Flash liberally and spread your enmity combo attacks around on your non-primary targets to keep them stuck on you, the latter bit assuming sleep isn't being employed.

U r right, i actually not rdy for tanking job, my main is whm. But im griding to get mt DL gear for pld. My question above is for later to tank better, but looks like those r tough question, or nobody have ever test on those.

2HP Healed = 1 Enmity

Your abilities that say "increased enmity" mulitiply your damage value in enmity.

So it's fairly important to have a decent weapon to generate the enmity and decent gear so healers don't need to spam heal.

When fighting packs of mobs make sure to switch mobs to keep your enmity ahead of healers and AOE DPS (BLM or BRD).

put it this way even with a % to threat for tanks and the lack of dps they do for healing to be spammed and crit pulls more hate than a tank can handle, no matter how good you are or geared as a tank the healer will pull agro regardless of skill. I have to take it easy and don't spam at all or I pull agro everytime I do.
