Why can't people just sit in their inn rooms and watch a full movie of all cutscenes without anyone interrupting you?

I don't get it...

Because all cutscenes donnot show in the inn room as a tank if I find there are new people in the group that want to watch cutscenes I love that I can help them out by not forcing them to skip them. If you wanna speed run dont use DF make your own group its easier to put together than a story group

I don't get it...

Because it ruins the immersion of the design as promoted by the developers. Yeah, you can watch the cut-scenes in your inn but it isn't the same, and you lose out on a lot of why you're doing what you're doing on your first run through.

I went through CM without realizing how awful people were going to be about playing cutscenes and rushing through the way we did (120 min dungeon completed with 80 min to spare with a few people doing first time) it made it the single worst dungeon experience I ever went through. It was so bad in fact that I never want to do CM again and I'd rather just do Primals or other dungeons with a lesser reward per run for tomestones then do that bull again.

So what I and my partner did when we went into Prae was state up-front that we wanted to watch the cutscenes. We made it clear up front and indicated if the majority weren't okay with that that we would drop group and wait for another. First one we did the majority weren't cool with it so I dropped, ate the 15 minute cooldown and waited for another group. This time the majority were okay with watching cutscenes so that's what we did. Two people complain but we all managed to make it through the dungeon with plenty of time, only had two wipes throughout the whole dungeon and had a good time. Much better than CM.

I think SE should add on their next patch something I suggested a while back, to divide in DF speed runs with regular runs. Speed runs free of cs and less time, regular runs with cs and full time.

I think it's a proper thing to divide newcomers with those who are just there to grind.


Sometimes people from your fc aren't around, or are too busy to party with you, DF never becomes obsolete.

Yes they do, you can use the tiny little arrows at the bottom of the page to select the next scene

There seems to be a problem. For CM, I used to de able to select cs to watch. Now I cannot. The bar is greyed out. Even for PA, now I can only watch the cs after tge defeat of Ultima weapon. No Nero scene, no elevator scene, no pre Ultima scene.
