Speed-running cut-scene skippers...

Ruined the entire ending of the main story for me. I was completely and absolutely deprived of the true experience. They totally ruined the entire mood and atmosphere. Yet these same people had the nerve to talk down upon me (with profanity and other name-calling of course) when truthfully, they're the ones that are entirely in the wrong.

This CANNOT be allowed to continue. If it were up to me, I'd simply perma-ban people like this for polluting the community. However, I suggest that Duty Finder dungeon runs should simply force cut-scenes that can't be skipped. If they want to speed run the instance the burden should be placed upon them to find other like-minded individuals rather than ruining the experience for other people.

I agree they should never, EVER talk down or degrade you. However, they have a right to not wait for you and to kill all the enemies / bosses (while you're watching the scene) just as much as you do to watch the scenes.

If you don't like like continuing without you, you can simply find a group of people who want to enjoy all the cutscenes. But to get mad at them for not waiting for you works both ways.

You say that now, and it's unfortunate that they did that to you....but when you are running CM for Tomestones for the 10th time...you will be glad you can skip cut scenes. I don't support anyone that does what they did to you....but I do wish they would add a feature where you could turn cut scenes off that you've already been through. When using the DF for instances, I expect at least one new person that watches cut scenes...I just patiently wait.

Honestly, to all those joining random CM/etc and wanting FAST RUNS, don't, go do your own damn groups and don't be a prick and ruin the huge amount of new player's experience.
When joining a random DF group you should NOT expect first timers to skip their story scenes, they're much more entitled to their first experience (they will only do it ONCE in their character's life time for f sake) than you are to your fast run.

Don't they, in turn, have the right to say the same thing to you? If you want to watch all cut scenes and have EVERY single person in the party wait for you while you do so, shout for a story party. It really works both ways. What isn't right is flaming someone for choosing either option.

They should add two modes to the dungeons required to complete story, IMO. Story mode (cutscenes), and grind mode (no cutscenes). Maybe a totally different and suitable name.

But I feel you. I used duty finder for the last two and was put with a speedrun group. As a speedrunner myself, I make sure we have a full party of speedrunners. Either from the FC or pugs. If we need a player from duty finder, it's up to us not to ruin it for them. Players are asshats sometimes. No patience at all. It's getting worse now that they're asking for full DL/Relic/AF for CM. I mean, CM. Come on. Elitism much?

I actually agree with the main story quest forcing CS in finder.

People wanting to speedrun should do shouts. Honestly why would anyone wanting a speedrun risk getting into a group in a DF pug anyway (2 tanks and 2 healers will slow the run way way way down). No offense to new people getting to endgame but the less geared the worse the speedrun will be anyways. So would benefit both partys to do it. Force the speedrun people to make partys, let the storyline people enjoy the story.
