More like.... I want to optimize my chances of getting HQ but I wont be super disappointed if it doesn't HQ, silly little troll bumping a completed thread.

Oh please, you just made my post as an excuse to yourself being a genius.

If you won't be "super disappointed" then why bother put an effort creating this thread? You can just rambo your way to crafting 2 star gears since you said you won't be disappointed anyway.

People gave you an idea/what you need, yet you're stubborn enough to accept their advice, keep telling us you only want to work with what you have, then ALAS by all means work with what you have and never expect anything since you won't be disappointed right?

I really thought crafting HQ 2 ** Items is nearly impossbile because i heard ppl talking/crying about and ment its incredible hard.
So i put some effort in the other classes before i tried it out.
Its a JOKE at least for every item where u need another preitem. (like chest, "shoulderguard")
What u need is all mats in HQ and your craftingclass to 50, + the following all on 15 (ALC,CUL,BSM,ARM,WVR) thats it, using HQ only mats give u close to 50% of the quality so u only need 1,5k quality which is piece of cake.
Finsihing off with rapid or standard synthesis.
The only thing u really need to care about is the 9 tomes mat like leather for me, just make sure u can progress it to 100% even if u need to cut HQ. You can make the preitem which u need for most of the armor parts HQ easy with a NQ leather.

my stats which are not incredible high (CMS 347, Control 322 and 360 CP(with buff food) i crafted about 10 hq 2 star items without any miss one had 96% rest was 100%
i repeat this counts for armor parts with preitems
i will try Rings where u need 2 Leather (probably on HQ to get a decent amount of quality) only after i got CUL to 37

oh and as LTW to LTW never use Waste Not I or II its not worth it
