Relics are too easy to get

First of all, no your FC couldnt beat it 4-5man. lets say 1 is tank the other 1-2 is healer leaving only 2 or 3 slots for dps if u take 1 healer, you would fail on the heart for sure.

5 is doable I think (Tank, healer, 3xDPS), but 4 I really doubt it although I'd like to see someone try it..

You're probably going to need L2 or 3 limit break to take down the heart which you will have to build up before, you'll need a BRD for ballad as MP usage will get worse as the fight goes on just surviving stomps.

The biggest problem I think will be Granite Gaol, if your healer gets it then 2 DPS might struggle to break them out quickly enough (while avoiding Landslide aswell) to be able to get the tank healed up before Rock > Mountain Buster, not to mention that stomps are immediately after this.

I also would have presumed in such a scenario that lb would be used on heart but then you are left with the problem of 1 healer and no LB during phase 5 in which he increasingly stomps more often which i do not think 1 healer could manage.

they talk about people with relic+1, some AF+1/CoB gear (i90 for an average ilvl>80) when pug titan are @best i70.
they have more HP/ def=> they can survive more stomps
their healer have more MP and heal more HP/cure

Then again i go back to my point about how this defeats the purpose of the brag of killing titan in the first place as they speak about requiring the kind of gear that u wouldnt otherwise have till AFTER titan. This falls into the mentality ppl have about how some shouldnt run AK without having DL even though AK drops ilvl60 where as DL is ilvl70.

Its getting to the point where like in ffxi they want you to have a delve weapon to be able to attend delves in the first place and this started occuring within couple of weeks of delves going live.

I am sure many would agree with me that a more skillful group isnt the one thats overgeared and kills something faster but rather the one thats only just geared to be able to handle it and still comes out ontop with having to fight for longer with weaker dps, weaker heals and weaker tanks.

TLDR: A challenge/hard fight is only what you make of it. It is not FACT that because 1 person found it easy that then so should everyone else. Overgear for something and you will roflstomp it. Undergear for it and you give urself a challenge on purpose. Player skills may vary.

Paladin + Dragoon + Bard + Scholar, Build two bars of lb before first jump. I think it would be hard but doable for a FC that's currently doing Coil progression with several pieces of i90 spread around. Would get dicy near the final stomps depending on speed.

@ Titan being easy: The thing is, once you understand the fight, it really is. Titan is a great fight to motivate a FC to be built and get into progression. Even casual FC's should be able to learn and win the fight with a few 3 hour sessions. Is it as easy as garuda? No, garu can be done in 4 min where all the ranged dps and healers hardly ever take a step. Titan isn't quite that trivial. That said, he's not so hard as to warrant a nerf.

@ Relic bein easy: yeah, it is. Its silly that it takes longer to pay for it (earn 900 tomes) than do win all the fights for it. Really, the 900 point cost is the only reason i'm at 7/9 instead of 9/9.
