    I would call these "quick fixes" sufficient since the crafting system is at least unique. The one thing I hate most about DoL and DoH are the animations...especially in something like fishing, omg blow my brains out. I think the system is deep and involved - it takes you preparing with proper armor, takes you preparing with proper food, takes you preparing with proper abilities and traits and takes you choosing the "right" synth mode although that is an RNG but its a risk vs. reward sort of system so they set you up to go either, "I'm good on durability, I'm gonna risk a bold and try and go for HQ" or "no way I'm just interested in SP, I'll take the safe route with standard synth." And when things aren't going your way you can try your luck at rapid synth to get back in the game.

    Also, some people just genuinely don't like the current crafting.
    So don't craft, that's why there's battle classes for your enjoyment or DoL classes. The economy is interdependent, you might not end up making as much gil as a crafter in the long run but they rely on you as much as you rely on them. Don't like crafting, not for you? don't do it. Who cares?
