I do not sit down infront of a video game and ask myself "why is this fun?" " am I having fun?" "how is this fun?" When you need to think about having fun you lose out on actually having fun. Having fun in a video game is rocket science.

For example, where I work alot of parent yell at their kids for silly reasons. The kids get bored and ask to help put food on the belt or ask to help shop. Or most parents let their younger children cry (toddlers/ infants) due to how it would look if they acted silly. I try to entertain kids w/o acting creepy because a happy kid is a quiet kid. If you put too much thought into things you tend to over look the basics.
