We need new NA legacy server(s)!

Excalibur and Hyperion are already so crowded that I don't think many players will be able to transfer in. Originally I wanted 5 of my non-legacy friends to transfer to Excalibur, but now that the server is so crowded, I will be transferring off Excalibur to another legacy server (Sargantas/Balmung), which I suspect are also somewhat crowded.

I don't think SE realizes how many non-legacy players want to move to legacy servers to play with their legacy friends. I'm not saying to let legacy players transfer to new servers, just give us at least one new NA legacy server so we can spread out and avoid server congestion, world full, and their new area player limit.

You know, this is a rather good idea and would get rid of a lot of the threads about legacy players being unable to move where they want.

It means we can't transfer off our server if we want to go to a non legacy server. I'd be all for a new legacy server if I could convince my non legacy server friends to join.

I agree. There are 19 none legacy and 4 legacy.

For an example, if there are 20 RL friends who had to spread out at the start and 1 happened to be on legacy server, all 20 of them need to move to a legacy server in order for them to be together.

We're all hyped about getting together next week only to have S-E tell you "the server is too full". ><

No more servers period until all of these cheats and hacks are fixed.. THEN, I'd like new servers that you're not allowed to transfer to so we can get a fresh start and play the game without the cheaters dicking up the server.

The only reason why Legacy servers are a big deal now would be the assumption that the majority of legacy players are still rolling in a hefty chunk of gil from their 1.0 days. Other than that I would personally like to go to a smaller server but at this juncture legacy members aren't allowed to transfer to non-legacy. Which is a super lame thing even if I do understand why we can't.
