You think there should be increased drops or more monsters?

So I was in an area yesterday farming a particular monster for pieces I planned to sell on the auction house. There seems to be roughly 10-15 of this one type of monster in that area and takes me, at level 50, roughly 10 seconds to kill one. It seemed that I was getting 3 pieces from a monster in about every 4-5 that I killed. While I was in that area for roughly 1 hour I probably only got 20 of this particular piece.

I had a person in the same area who was clearly running a bot to kill two of these every time they spawned.

Also had another guy doing the same thing as me that would be clearing 5+ of them when they spawned.

My question is: To me that seems like a very small amount of this particular material..and it's one that is highly required for one of the tradecrafts.. Should there be an increased percentage to drop rate? More chances for one of those monsters to even drop an item? Or more Monsters in those zones? Or lastly, do you feel that I should only get 20 materials an hour to keep prices high in auction house and keep everyone limited on resources.
