How is the Market on your NA server doing?

Hey all. I
m on the Faerie server and though I haven't started to dive into the market too deep yet, it seems like it doesn't have much going on right now with item availability. I would think this would have to do with population as well as the game being as new as it is but I wanted to ask how the Market is on other NA servers as in do items sell fast, good amounts of Gil, and can you find most things on it. My FC may be looking into a server transfer and biggest thing I care about is the Market so please let me know. Thanks.

Behemoth's market has its ups and downs. There is never a shortage of materials, but there is plenty of competition. I've had no problems making a profit selling goods though.

Edit: Best profits are driven by niche markets until you're able to make endgame gear.

for the first few weeks I was able to take advantage of multiple price gaps in the market. Nowadays it's harder to find stuff that can be bought and resold. So the market has become relatively stable on my server now. I can still find some things, but no where near as much as I used to, and not for as large of a price gap either, and it'll only get tighter as the market ages.

It is currently very hard to get anything to sell on Goblin at the moment. Due to when I do put something up, someone always undercuts me. There are several items listed at 1gil. How can one make any profit at that. @_@ This system drives me nuts lots of days.

Can always find something worth making/farming and selling. These days I'm mainly doing HQ tools, which sell well at 7.5k.

I am on Famfrit and the markets are very screwy. I know everyone wants to make money, but I'm having trouble understanding why Why WHY people are selling higher level harvested/mined goods at lower prices than lower level goods? Doesn't that defeat the purpose of the HIGHER level? I saw level 40 harvested item X selling for 5 gil each, then saw level 5 harvested item Y for 50 gil!! How is that right? I busted my butt to make lvl 38 on my botanist only to be rewarded by ppl selling items WAY below what (I believe) they are worth! I love the free market system and believe it balances things overall, but not when ppl are just plain ridiculous. And as far as going in and buying all the 1-10 gil items out, don't forget that there is tax on EVERYTHING, so those items you buy to "corner" the market, sometimes come back to bite you. And currently, there just isn't enough room in EITHER of my retainers, my inventory and the FC chest WITH 3 pages.

Ultros doesn't look good. I have been selling fleece. Sticking up one lot of x amount at a time instead of heaps of stacks. Making a nice profit but boy do undercutters move fast. ten minutes later after me making money, all the prices of the other stacks shift. They don't waste time.

But Flax, 99g for 99. Dyes 99g for 99 etc. It's like that across everything.
Even Botany unspoiled nodes items are selling for cheap. My Botanist is 48, i don't even see the point of getting it to 50.
