[Summoner] Help me not be bad.

So I'm a healer, healing is what I enjoy doing, but obviously an FC needs more than one healer, so as I help others I play as summoner since it came packaged with my scholar. And well I'm bad at it (based on mine and the tanks opinion), I used to be top dps on my Warlock back when I played WoW(Vanilla->Wrath) it could just be that I'm rusty from healing for so long (BCWoW ->Now in many other MMOs)

I'll do some more detailed searching for guides but I didn't see anything at first glance, and I've done a little research but nothing extensive since I doubt I'll be raiding on it.

I use Garuda for my summon, for that smexy dot extension (extra sexy before a bane)

And this is the rotation I try to go by but honestly I'm really bad at keeping thunder up.

    For Multiple Mob Trash: BioII>Miasma>Bio>Bane>Thunder>RuinSpam
For Single Mob Trash: BioII>Miasma>Bio>Fester>Thunder>RuinSpam (Fester on CD)

I prioritize keeping at least one stack of Aetherflow up when Aetherflow is on cooldown.

I make no real use of MiasmaII unless I'm surrounded, and haven't been helping in dungeons where I have access to Shadowflame yet, should I always have that down?

When should I be using Rouse/Spur? or Enkindle?

    Final thing Stats= INT>Determination>Crit>Speed?

Generally crit is better than determination.

Furthermore, you are forgetting Shadowflare as a great DPS cooldown.

Its debatable whether you will ever need to "save" a stack of aetherflow. Obviously save if you know you will need to bane (next trash pack) or fester an add before aether is back up again, but other than that it doesn't matter when you use it.

    Typically for trash, I go

Bio II > Miasma > Bio | Contagion | Swiftcast > Shadowflare > Miasma II

You either bane during Shadowflare or Miasma II offGCD, when you see that contagion has hit.

Then tab target thunder, then do ruin spam (or refresh miasma II).

Rouse with its 1 minute cooldown is safe to use whenever you are using contagion...I mean they don't synergize, but you should freely use 1 min cd's unless you are only 1 trash pull away from a boss.

I wouldn't use Spur on trash, just cause 2 minutes is iffy, but its also safe to use until about 3 packs from the boss.

As for "miasma II while surrounded", you should always endeavor to be surrounded, unless the enemies have PBAoEs. If they just have cones, stay on their butts (where melee dps would stay) and miasma II is a dps increase as long as the target lasts at least 6 seconds and there are at least 2 targets.

Rouse is on a short cd so unless I know I need too save it for a boss mechanic were I need more burst or I plan on using my enkindle I spam rouse when its off cd.
spur has a more hefty cd so I usually save it incase I need more burst like titans heart or ifrits nails, but you can spam it with rouse if you know your not gonna need it before it comes off cd.
as for enkindle I save it for "must die phase"of any situation or just general aoe trash burst/boss melting, rule of thumb you should use enkindle right after you use spur and rouse for max damage.
as for miasma 2 I just use it for my trash aoe rotation along with shadow flare and dot+bane.
