I think 300 is alright but if it's gonna be 500 I'll be glad. at least we can get 1 AF2 part per week.
It would take 5 months I believe to get every piece via mythology tomes by running AK at 300 a week. Isn't the definition of welfare is being handed something for free? 5 months is a massive time commitment and if someone runs something that long they have definitely earned it. Otherwise, going by that same train of logic, you probably bought your computer via welfare. You saved up for it by working? Unless you were doing something completely life threatening for a living you're just putting in the time required to make the money necessary. It's not difficult, it's just being handed to you.
Let's also put the shoe on the other foot and apply this logic in real life. Why does anyone need over minimum wage? You have the money for basic clothing and living expenses. Why do you need "quality of life." improvements? You have enough to survive. Who says you deserve more than that?

Coil looks like this: 6 loots a week to gear up 96 slots (8 players, 12 slots each to gear minus weapons) is a bit much, especially once you factor in RNG. You're looking at 16 weeks to gear a static group assuming every piece is used by everyone, nothing missing and no duplicated drops. Realistically you're probably looking at double that.It would take 5 months I believe to get every piece via mythology tomes by running AK at 300 a week. Isn't the definition of welfare is being handed something for free? 5 months is a massive time commitment and if someone runs something that long they have definitely earned it.
Four months of PERFECT RNG to gear via the hardest content in the game vs Five months of ak farming for the same result.
That is the problem.
This just looks like they will add more dungeons to give philo/myth and make then equal to that of the current or let us get more per dungeon. Nothing about what being said in that post indicates they are increasing the cap. People see what they want I suppose.. SMHJust from the patch notes
Kind of vague, but I would LOVE to earn more then 300 a week. Maybe increase it to about 500. So people can get at least a piece of AF2 per week.
Hate running COIL 1-2-4 and getting ONLY 6 chests per week and I haven't gotten squat in 2 weeks of clearing coil.
It's more of a waiting game then anything right now.
May I have a link to these patch notes please?

LOL at people complaining about casual gamers getting ilvl 90 gear AND in the same threat complaining that 6 chests per week for 8 people is bad. How about running molten core for a year to get 40 people geared, when people got 1-2 drops per boss for 40 people not 8. Better yet the days of EQ when entire server had to compete for a boss kill that spawned once per week for entire server. You think you are hardcore gamer? You are an elitist scrub. Hardcore is eve online were your alliance can loose $50,000 in a 30 minute battle. FFXIV is a casual mmo for casual gamers, being "hardcore" in FFXIV is like being hardcore in riding a 5 year olds tricycle.
