No matter the MMO , no matter what they do , no matter how they do it .........................they will never ever satisfy all the complainers out there who wake up every day to just complain about every little thing they can think of.
People who leveled mining quickly had the advantage of setting prices and selling for (likely) higher prices than will be seen in the near future. Late comers will have to abide and/or sell for less, having lost the opportunity to sell while "new". At some point, the prices may skyrocket, but it won't be in the near future... and is also a concept that hopefully is not foreign to people who know the most basic of supply & demand.
Ya they could of gone about the oversaturated nature of items better in terms of the unspoiled nodes had they done it differently. They could of created a mini market between DoL, where let's say the Darksteel ore node has the following pre-req.
When the node is up at 1am, you click on it and are given the following prompt that picked one of the following:
1=Offer 50 Mistletoes to proceed
2=Offer 50 electrum ores to proceed
3=Offer 50 Rosewood logs to proceed
4=Offer 50 Rosewood Branches to proceed
5=Offer 50 Grade 3 carbonized matter to proceed.
So basically when you reach an unspoiled node they would request 50 of the above items, different from each unspoiled node and upon meeting the requirements it would remove the item from inventory and you would be able to gather from the node
Doing this would add value to the "junk" items in the game because of the ease of obtianing them since gatherers would now need all 5 on hand to be rdy for what they might need since it would be randomized.

1.0 mining. and the max exp you get per hit is around 300exp? As you level higher it goes to 60-78exp, you got to move up to a higher level node.
Now they show you what you can get. Mining is so much easier now. Increase in EXP is a good idea. Because Gathering jobs is more like a Secondary job, used to help you craft or get some gils.
Where are the patch notes on this? Have not touched miner in a while because the only time I make progress on a level is when I get HQ which is laughable at times...

Unfair? Perhaps.. but they're only Miner changes.
