Miner changes unfair

Even though I've been burning my leves to level botany, I think this is a good change and I don't right care if they do anything by me or not. A large part of the exp, even during a leve, is from the actual act of gathering so this serves to boost exp gain all around, a welcome thing. If you feel hurt about it, mayhaps you should take a step back and think about a bigger picture than your mirror.

First of all, you did not waste all your time leveling miner, you keep your levels and get to mine higher level items you can sell or use to produce trade craft goods. You were probably one of the ones who rushed to max level everything, and are upset now because things are being dumbed down. Do not get me wrong, I am not a fan of dumbing things down either, but you had to know this would come sooner or later. You do not deserve something to make up for it. Stop with the self-absorbed entitlement crap. You chose to go out and level mining as fast as you did, SE does not owe you anything. If you have issues with things eventually being dumbed down, you are probably in the wrong game genre, just sayin.

I am not certain that the adjustment is required. Gathering is boring like hell, and imho it is due DOL classes are underdeveloped. As far as their leveling speed is concerned it looks to be on par, or even exceeds that of the other classes.

No it doesnt. Currently they are the slowest classes to level. Period.

The fighting classes have their fates, crafters have thier hqs, fisher is .well, just fisher and perfect where it is aside from needing a bit more viablity, and at the VERY end are the other two gathers which have twice as much grind as anyone else.

Are you really sure? It just took me like 40 minutes to get 44-45 via leves. And simply gathering is just around two times slower. Crafting hqs might be faster but they are not self sufficient, so it is hard to estimate how much time they actually take.

I wasted all this time leveling miner and now they are trying to make it something that can be done in half the time.

This is the equivalent of saying you deserve something for a choice you voluntarily made that ultimately did not turn out to be in your favor. In the Japanese online community there's a saying "人柱乙", it roughly translates to a sarcastic way of saying "thanks for being the guinea pig". It speaks to the fact that rushing ahead of others just means you take on the risk of becoming the "first victim" that is sacrificed to uncover any issues so that a fix is offered for everyone else.

Let this be a lesson, never try to be the first of anything in this game.

I think the additional exp being added in the hot fix is unfair to other players who worked hard on leveling there miners. I spent the larger part of leveling miner in 1.0 and accepted the relative "easiness" of getting my last five levels in 2.0 since it was a new game... But this is just BS!

They need to give current miners something to make up for this. Why spend your time doing anything in this game if they are going to make it easier and easier for everyone else? I feel cheated. If only I could level off all the tears in this thread, I'd be 50 already..
