    Miner changes unfair

    I think the additional exp being added in the hot fix is unfair to other players who worked hard on leveling there miners. I spent the larger part of leveling miner in 1.0 and accepted the relative "easiness" of getting my last five levels in 2.0 since it was a new game... But this is just BS!

    They need to give current miners something to make up for this. Why spend your time doing anything in this game if they are going to make it easier and easier for everyone else? I feel cheated. I wasted all this time leveling miner and now they are trying to make it something that can be done in half the time.

    I think the change was more in regards to "hey level 40 DoH leves award 300k exp, maybe DoL leves should give more than 30k"

    If anything it's going to help de-saturate the lower level items since people aren't grinding on them as long. Higher level items are a different story, I welcome this change.

    This. You may see a rush post-patch, but eventually a lot of the lower-tier mats will become more scarce. Meanwhile, the higher end mats are likely to be more saturated, and in my opinion, rightly lower in price. There's a middle ground between getting by as a player and being filthy stupid rich as a player. I veer more toward the former for the benefit of casuals, but those who enjoy the latter will certainly gnash their teeth when you threaten their domain. Personally, I'd like to see a tier of crafting goods between DL and AF2/Allagan to better help outfit players with gearing options not so much bound to dungeon spamming.

    Ya they could of gone about the oversaturated nature of items better in terms of the unspoiled nodes had they done it differently. They could of created a mini market between DoL, where let's say the Darksteel ore node has the following pre-req.

    When the node is up at 1am, you click on it and are given the following prompt that picked one of the following:
    1=Offer 50 Mistletoes to proceed
    2=Offer 50 electrum ores to proceed
    3=Offer 50 Rosewood logs to proceed
    4=Offer 50 Rosewood Branches to proceed
    5=Offer 50 Grade 3 carbonized matter to proceed.

    So basically when you reach an unspoiled node they would request 50 of the above items, different from each unspoiled node and upon meeting the requirements it would remove the item from inventory and you would be able to gather from the node

    Doing this would add value to the "junk" items in the game because of the ease of obtianing them since gatherers would now need all 5 on hand to be rdy for what they might need since it would be randomized.

    Well, if they actually fix/remove the botters, they need to do something to replace the massive supply vacuum that will follow

    Not that you care, because sarcasm, but part of the reason the supply is so over-saturated is because it takes like 1000 of x item to get 1 level in higher levels. Give more exp per item = less items that have to be gathered overall.

    You realise the saturation of items is actually directly caused by the slow leveling speed right? The longer it takes players to level the more stuff they need to gather to do so. Most players will check the market for what's hot and exclusively gather that for five levels... when they sell up the thousands they gathered they crash the market for that item.

    If leveling were faster you would actually see far fewer of many items flooding the market simply because players wouldn't be forced to gather them.
