There are a few possible things in play in this patch that could potentially affect, atleast me and I was curious if other crafters felt the same about the patch tonight.

1. I heard spiritbonding was going to be addressed in some manner.
I have no details on what the change is, I speculated that it could be the removal of the ability to gain spiritbond on things like crafting and gathering gear when running dungeons. If this is the case the price of materia is going to skyrocket. I took a gamble and purchased a large quantity of materia just before downtime. If spiritbonding were to change in this manor it would also greatly damage the "renewable" crafting gears on the market that people use in said dungeons.

This is my bread and butter for making gil currently so I may be a tad more scared than most.

2. Mythology cap possibly getting raised higher.
If this occurs why would people seek us out for 2 star crafted gear. Our client list would diminish greatly from people just going straight for i90 gear. If this was to occur my fear is that really the only craft people will seek out anymore is culinary.

I have made cash off cooking, over a million atleast but to say it is tedious to craft a 99 stack of HQ 2 star food for a million is an understatement. In the time it takes to craft a stack you can farm CM enough to craft a 2 star piece of gear to sell and you would (atleast currently) have materia to show for it as a side bonus.

So while the adventurers in my guild are excited for tonight, I am biting my nails waiting for the servers to come up - how about you all?
