wow, nice first post .... >.>
To answer the OP ... I used to be a heavy D2 hardcore player. I got to level 76 in PoE, only to die to a terrible desync. I died in Act 2 inferno vs. Belial before 1.03 in D3.
Point is, Hardcore is for ARPGs, not MMORPGs.

Granted.
But farming for tomes take 5x as long.
Yeah right.

Ahh, good 'ol hardcore.
I remember when I was playing Diablo 3, back before I realized how bad it was. I had a hardcore demon hunter. Got her to act 2 hell. Then, I rubber banded like hell (no pun intended), game froze for 10 seconds due to server lag, and when it resumed I was dead.
I uninstalled immediately and never played it again![]()

I'd hate to be the person that dies during a dungeon speed run. Having to start all over again cause noone raises anyone in a speed run.
You guys don't have to play on the server if you don't want to...Obviously.
Myself and many others will have a blast playing this game mode.

Umm no....
Online games are not for Perma death.... Dieing to any of the following reasons
1: 90k Error
2: Internet goes out cuz some drunk idiot hit telephone pole
3: Dog ate through mouse cord
4: etc etc etc
Would suck with perma death, to many uncontrollable variables.
you know...are there any mmorpg with perma death out there?
i was watching .hack/sign and it kinda made me want to play one of these mmos
