World Transfer - No character creation = No Transfer?

Why Was My Transfer Declined?

I'm currently on Masamune trying to get to Sargantanas.

Been getting this message everytime, i've checked 5 times to make sure.

- Your character may be enlisted in a free company, or may have signed to a free company petition. (Resigned from free company)
- Your character may be currently logged into the game. (Check)
- Your character's retainer may currently have items for sale. (Currently isnt selling anything)
- The calamity salvager may still possess items from your inventory (only applicable to characters transferred from Version 1.0). (Has no items)
- Your character's retainer has not been rehired (only applicable to characters transferred from Version 1.0). (Is currently rehired)
- One or more characters subject to transfer may be located in the Mordion Gaol. (Check)
- One or more characters subject to transfer may have logged out while in an instanced area (Check)

I've noticed that character creation on Sargantanas is currently locked, does anyone know if this is what is causing the transfer error?

Wasn't sure if this should go under Technical Support or here, sorry if it belongs elsewhere.

Haven't been able to establish clarity on this yet.

I would try submitting a ticket to support and see if they give you any help.

I've noticed that character creation on Sargantanas is currently locked

From the world transfer guidelines:

Characters cannot be transferred to a World which has already reached the limit for character creation.

I may be wrong, but I'd assume that servers that are locked for character creation have "reached the limit for character creation". Not sure how they closely they tie together with the transfer service, though.

They changed that, you can transfer to crowded destinations but maybe something else is wrong. You're cutting it close on the transfer. May want to try and call support if you're positive you checked all of those conditions the site mentioned.

They did mention they may still restrict it if the world became too full but I would think they'd make an announcement if that was the case. Who knows.

It is possible to transfer to worlds locked to CC, however there is still an upper limit where you will still be locked out.
