    If they instance it, then it won't be bad. Maybe do something like Dragon's Dogma, where there was a boss that spawned once a week, and though you were not online, you participated in killing the boss overall with other people.

    If they just lock you out, people are going to be angry. And it probably won't stop the Troll AOE people.

    Are you talking about separate "channels" for each zone?
