    [Idea] Mythology Licenses

    How would you like this:

    Instead of buying a piece of equipment with your Tomestones of Mythology for your first chosen job, you buy a license to buy any piece of that same slot for any job you may have.

    This could be made slightly more expensive in tomes OR just have you buy said pieces with gil after you purchased the license.

    So instead of waiting to gear up your other jobs (which would take years!) you could simply get what you need after you finished the whole loooong process once. Since, after all, this game is built on the mechanic of having one character to do everything. So let me do everything equally. That'd be super.

    Note: This could also apply to Tomestones of Philosophy, but those are not capped, just boring to get.

    Relax. The costs will be eased.

    That said, I wouldn't mind a separate cap for one or two more classes.

    Adjustments to the spawn rate of monsters that drop diremite web and additional locations where Karakul can be found.
    The amount of experience points that can be acquired on botanist and miner, as well the experience points that can be acquired from their fieldcraft leves, will be increased.
    User interface elements related to materia and target information will be adjusted.

    In addition to the above adjustments we will also be fixing a number of bugs.

    What do you mean for a separate cap?

    And yes it will be eased, and possibly soon with the hotfix (speculating only) also they have really high grindy costs and/or time caps at first to slow down the hardcore players. xD Then the older it gets the more accesible it'll become, or, not necessary since you might be able to even skip it. Or even just faceroll thru the content making 10 min runs.
