I also am running Titans in SLI as well as running in Nvidia Surround (5760x1080).

The SLI support is terrible, In small areas things run great (100+ FPS) and the cards are at 80%+ utilized but in crowded areas things run slow (30-40FPS) and my cards are pegged at only 40-50% utilized. It seems like a client / server problem where the server can't send out the information tot he client fast enough in crowded areas so the client is stuck waiting on screen render.

Hopefully it will get looked at by SE.

Unfortunately it's more of a driver issue than anything. This game has terrible CrossfireX support as well. GPU 2 randomly goes to 99% usage, and when it doesn't it jumps up and down and the stutter is headache-inducing when it happens. 1 GPU for me now..

try disabling the SLI then run the game, it should run better. not every game will be perfect with SLI, also each system is different coz people have their windows, driver software, etc config'd totally different too.

i have problems running the game in quad SLI but have no issues running dual SLI where other games i have no problems with quad. most MMO i have played cant really handle SLI/Xfire properly

actually it is to be expected, is SLI/Xfire run on every single PC in the world? No, its not but game developers are slowly working on having SLI/Crossfire as a norm. things like this take time. while its becoming more common the fact is that more gamers are using 1 GPU compared to dual/triple/quad SLI/Xfire.

this, in my opinion, is due to certain limitations to DirectX 9.0c, which FFXIV currently uses. DX9 can utilize SLI/Xfire but has certain limitations. when DX11 is implemented i hope the SLI/Xfire support to be improved greatly, also i do hope on DX11 only version of the game which i would doubt will happen but is possible.

More and more games are coming out now as DX11 only due to Xbox One and PS4 both use DX11.1 i just hope games move to 64bit only too but wont happen any time soon

Yes! Every game must support something that only a small percentage of the user base has!

You sound like the whiny people that bitch and moan XYZ game does not work right with their 47 monitor eyefinity setup.

I remember there was an official statement from SE that the game is not yet optimized for SLI gaming experience. I believe when Nvidia came out with the driver that had FFXI ARR profile built-in and people started raising the SLI question during beta testing. SE says they will announce it along with when DX11 will be supported at the time I read that post during beta.

I have yet to come across an official statement from SE after the beta to clarify whether it is in the works to support SLI community!

It is not SLI guys, I have 2 760s and an i7 3770k. I get 30fps when in mor dhona looking at the aetheryte crystal. One Card or Two I get 30FPS so my video cards are not the bottleneck, the CPU is obviously not the bottleneck, it is therefor the game code on DX9 not using new hardware very well
