New Account compromised

So, I buy the game a couple of days ago. Install, register and play up to level 12 or so. Really enjoy the game and get 2 friends to go out and buy it. Now this evening, I try to login...

first my password doesn't work. No big deal, I use many so might have set it to something other than I thought. Reset my password and am able to get into launcher.

Upon trying to login though, I receive error 3102. A bit of googling and it seems it was a known error. Tried reboot, ipconfig /release, flushdns, renew... no luck.

So, I submit ticket 2998590 to Support.

Then I decide to login to the site Lodestone for the first time and it asks me which character?!?! I've only created one. Check in-game... sure enough there are two miner toons around level 20. One in JP and one in EU/US.

I login to account management, verify no additional emails have been added to the account and apply the secure soft token.

This is very odd. This computer is clean. I did a full format the day I installed the game. No-one has been on it browsing. I use my laptop for that. Just finished Malwarebytes and MS Security Essentials Scans which are clean. I also use a strong password containing upper and lower alpha, numeric, and special characters.

So... something is definitely fishy here. As of now, I still receive the 3102 error and can't login. Kind of odd as I would think changing the password and applying a token to the account would kick anyone logged in off. Hopefully SE can get this resolved and sort out what is going on with my account.

I really just wanted to post this to document what's going on in case of botting, gold selling, etc...

Disable your account for a couple of hours and enable it back, then try to login.

This. And hope your account doesn't get suspended now. Delete both of those characters. And if your main has been gil spamming you might want to delete that one too since everyone on the server will have you blacklisted.
